Why Speak?

​

Youth speakers will spend a few months working to create, refine, memorize, and present a talk on a topic they are passionate about to a live audience. Speakers will be able to work on many skills as they craft presentations, demonstrations, stories, and more, working closely with our team to hone writing and performing skills. They will learn and improve on time management, independence, creativity, collaboration, public speaking, and more. Speakers can help inspire the younger speakers while gaining new connections and ideas.

Talks will be recorded and posted on the official TEDx youtube channel. All talks must be under 18 minutes.

We are looking for 3-4 youth speakers. Speakers will be chosen based on skill level, dedication, and talk ideas (must be relevant to theme & have unique topic)
